Military Memories

Our County For Our Country

The Wayne County Museum of History is committed to ongoing research and commemoration of local military service members. From the French and Indians Wars (7 years war) in the mid 18th century to the American Revolution, Mexican War, Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI and WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and the modern military conflicts in the middle east, men and women from Wayne County have answered the call to serve in our national military.

If you are a Wayne County Veteran, or related to one, please consider filling out the Military Memories form below and share your family history with Wayne County.

Please use the form below to share your story.

Your participation will ensure that the legacy of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism endures for future generations. We will archive all the shared data and return loaned items after the exhibit ends. Together, we will honor and celebrate ALL the remarkable individuals who have selflessly served our county for our country.
