Military Memories

Our County For Our Country

The Wayne County Museum of History is calling for submission of the names of Wayne County Service Members from Past and Present to be featured in our new Exhibit. Whether from the Revolution or modern conflict; at home or abroad; our military service men and women must be known and remembered.

The Wayne County Museum of History is proud to announce a new exhibit for the year.
Military Memories: Our County for Our Country

This exhibit honors our county’s military service members by highlighting the men and women from Wayne County who answered the call to serve. We will feature this exhibit in our Main Exhibit Room from D-Day (June 6) through Veteran’s Day (November 11).

We are inviting you, and your ancestors, to be a part of this exhibit by sharing the service records of Wayne County residents, past and present. Our goal is to document any oral histories, written accounts, poignant photographs, or precious artifacts portraying the military and civilian life of those who served from the Revolution to modern times. This public participation will help illuminate the remarkable contributions of our local heroes.

Please use the form below to share your story.

Your participation will ensure that the legacy of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism endures for future generations. We will archive all the shared data and return loaned items after the exhibit ends. Together, we will honor and celebrate ALL the remarkable individuals who have selflessly served our county for our country.
