Tour the Museum

ADMISSION TO THE MUSEUM: $5 adults, $3 students

WCHS Members:  Free

GUIDED TOURS: $15

 

Walk through the former Wayne County Jail and Sheriff's Residence.

Guided tours with an educator last approximately two hours and include all three floors

of the Museum & The Carriage House (weather permitting).

For groups larger than 6, please call to schedule a tour.

Paranormal Investigations

By appointment only.

Bring your paranormal team and equipment to the museum at night for a

private investigation.

Current rate is $300/night for full sheriff residence, both cellblocks, and carriage house (weather permitting).

Hours are flexible.

School Tours/Field Trips

Schedule a tour for your class at the Museum of Wayne County History! 

Let your students learn and explore the history of their county.

Tour is $3 per student; teachers/chaperones are free.

Due to COVID-19, all students are required to wear face coverings inside the Museum. At this time, we are taking school tours on a case-by-case basis. Give us a call to inquire and schedule in advance.
