Trip 4: Clyde to Macedon (one-way) - Saturday, August 23, Bus 11 am; Boat 12:00 pm ($85 per trip plus 7% processing fee)

*NOTE: Bus time is for the transportation from the parking lot at the destination. Bus will transport all passengers to the boat departure location.


Bus Pick up at Parking Lot at Destination: Erie Canal Adventures Marina, 1125 Marina Pkway, Macedon

Boat Boarding Locations: Clyde Lauraville Landing, Water St. Clyde

Trip Departure Time: 9:00 am on the boat.

Description: One Way trip Distance of approximately 30 miles . Cruise the historic Erie Canal through Wayne County "end to end" from Clyde to Macedon. Travel through 5 locks, view historic Lyons Drydock, Poorhouse historic lock 56 and Lockville locks, pass Cannery Row and learn the story of widewaters and Port Gibson. Pass into Palmyra and by the Aqueduct Park, and past old lock 60 in Macedon.


ONBOARD AMENITIES: This trip includes a bag lunch, water, some lite snacks and historic narration from Bob Stopper, who is a Lyons resident, canal historian and canal side greeter, and big fan of the Erie Canal, and maybe a few surprises!! Boat amenities include restroom and cash bar.


OTHER TRIPS: Wayne County trips are numbered 1 - 7.

Trip 2 is the only round trip. All others are one-way and include bus transport from your parking location (which will be at the trip destination)

Trip 1: Waterloo to Lyons (one-way) - Friday, August 22, Bus 8:30 am; Boat 9:00 am

Trip 2: Lyons to Newark (round trip) - Friday, August 22, Boat 5:30 pm

Trip 3: Lyons to Clyde (one-way) - Saturday, August 23, Bus 8:30 am; Boat 9:00 am

Trip 4: Clyde to Macedon (one-way) - Saturday, August 23, Bus 11 am; Boat 12:00 pm

Trip 5: Macedon to Clyde (one-way) - Sunday, August 24, Bus 9:15 am; Boat 10:00 am

Trip 6: Clyde to Lyons (one-way) - Sunday, August 24, Bus 4:30 pm; Boat 5:00 pm

Trip 7: Lyons to Waterloo (one-way) - Monday, August 25, Bus 9:30 am; Boat 10:00 am
