About the event

Local Historian, Tom Sawtelle joins us at the Museum to set the stage for the Revolution that had yet to begin. Tom has studied the existence of trade routes between Lake Ontario and the Clyde River, taking folks to and from Wayne County's own "blockhouse" located in Clyde that acted as trading post and fort for early European businessmen. Come learn more about the earliest accounts of interaction between the Haudenosaunee and the "white man."

RSVP requested. $5 suggested donation at the door. Members are free.
