About the event

This exhibit will showcase original creations from our community. Everyone perceives the Erie Canal differently and utilizes it in their own manner, thus capturing its essence. It serves a practical function and possesses a romantic charm. Through what lens do you see the Erie Canal? Boating, fishing, walking the trail, biking, painting, history, story, travel, engineering, obstruction... and the list goes on.

Artwork created by Tyler Nordgren of Ithaca NY for the Canal Bicentennial. He also created the eclipse artwork that was so popular in 2024.
