Annual Meeting & Presentation

At 6pm, our catered dinner will be provided by Westside Fuel.

The Annual Member Meeting will convene at 6:30pm with an overview of the year's activities and election of Board Members. All WCHS Members are eligible to vote.

At 7pm, after the member meeting, David Conners, a member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe (US Gov designation), will give a short presentation on the common myths, misconceptions, and deceptions from the Indigenous outlook. What was the indigenous perception of the Declaration of Independence? Who were "The Savages"? How important was the Canandaigua Treaty and others? What was happening with indigenous tribes in Wayne County / Central NY before and during the colonial period?

David has been a Native American Presenter to public schools and Community Organization for the past 20 years +/-. He is the owner of thousands of Indigenous artifacts, documentations, artistic and craft originals and replicas. David, nicknamed Toda, is also a U.S. Army Veteran whose Uncle was a Code Talker in WWII. He has been a Wayne County resident for 40 years.

The cost to attend this event is $25/person for members and $27/person for non-members of the WCHS. Your ticket fee will be due upon arrival to the meeting.
